Vastly underestimated by most people, grey as a colour is one of the few tones that suits itself to wear with practiclly any outfit. So naturally, when our carver got hold of a richly-patterned block of grey jade suited to the making of bangles, they had to devote themselves to making at least one. This gorgeously-patterned jewel is the result.
 
Measuring in at a width of 32mm and an internal diameter of 61mm, the external diameter of this piece measures 79mm - meaning that its walls are a full 9mm thick, and thus very strong. The interior surface is polished to be as smooth as silk. The exterior surface is also polished to a high gloss, though the surface texture generated by the structure of this stone has been retained, giving it a kinaesthetic quality that's great for the blind, the autistic and the everyday nervous fidgeter alike. A great piece that's both tactile and highly visually appealing, and suited to wear with anything.
