Guatemala is well-known these days for producing some beautiful jadeite jades - and none more so than the blues found in the deposit mined by the Olmecs centuries ago and lost to the world for some three hundred years. This pendant is carved from a beautiful piece of Princessa blue jadeite showing the white spot inclusions characteristic to much of this material, and possesses a high gloss with strong translucency and a ccloud-like pattern within that's only visible when it's held to the light.

Measuring in at 64mm long and 39mm wide at its widest point, this is a solid pendant with a thick body that would suit those who like their pendants to have some weight and substance to them. Its rich ccolours and snowflake patterning mke it a striking piece that would not be out of place as a part of either fancy or formal wear.
