Carved from a beautiful piece of korito jade sourced from an old collection, this simple niho mako or shark's-tooth pendant showcases the pale tones characteristic of korito jade - which is so named for the flesh of the young plant shoots that it so resembles. With a band of the light bright green off tho one side, the rest of the pendant is taken up by jade of an off-white hue, just like the juicy white flesh at the base of the green shoot.
 
Measuring in at 49mm long and 33mm wide, this is a very translucent piece of jade sporting gentle patterning and bright tones. Elegant in its simplicity, it'll happily suit either everyday or occasional wear.
